Eresh-Tammuz

Here's a new concept I created during the most recent live workshop with The Extra Mile students. The idea was to create a villain character for the TEM universe (some kind of antagonist for Kudu the main TEM character) and explore some common interests from the cohort of students which in this case revolved around collectibles.

Here is a bit of the background story for this guy:
Eresh-Tammuz was once a revered priest-king in a forgotten kingdom, chosen by the gods to maintain the delicate balance between life and death. However, his obsession with power led him to betray his sacred duties, forming a forbidden pact with the forces of the underworld. While not immortal, he wields the power of death and decay, draining life from the lands he conquers. His vulnerability lies in the ancient artifact that binds him to his dark powers—a relic known as the "Heart of Tammuz." To defeat him, Kudu must shatter this relic, severing Eresh-Tammuz from his dark source and rendering him mortal once again.
