A quick creature sketch, about an hour from start to finish. He started as a rough blob and slowly turned into something more interesting.

There’s no magic trick here... just a clear framework and the same set of steps I follow every time. When you know what comes next, you can spend your time on the fun part, the design decisions. It’s the same approach I share in the first practical module of The Extra Mile, ‘You can do it’ (only 4 short lessons so you can get your first nicely presented concept out the door).
